Sr. Data Analyst, Operations and Planning

Delta's OP&P Crew Planning & Performance team is responsible for maximize crew availability by forecasting demand and optimally placing supply, delivering analytical insights to improving Delta's operational performance.

The broader team links planning decisions to crew performance outcomes to continuously improve results, scales and standardizes best practices across the pilot and flight attendant crew divisions, and connects the dots between crew performance and the broader operation / enterprise. The Senior Analyst will be asked to work closely with leaders on the IFS and FOP Crew teams, as well as the broader OP&P organization to develop creative solutions to current challenges.

• Partner with both IFS and FOP crew teams to identify and solve for opportunities in Crew Planning
• Create insightful executive-level and frontline dashboards using data visualization tools
• Develop analytics solutions to divisional challenges and operationalize with modern tools
• Forecast future operational metrics and work with business unit to include in their planning and execution processes
• Improve the historic processes within the division by implementing data driven solutions
• Locate and extract data from a variety of sources for use in analysis, models, and project development
• Support development of executive level decks and present findings to business leadership
