The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing daily construction staking and work layout tasks for all phases of concrete construction structures. Performed calculations from plans for laying out foundations, columns, slabs, elevator pits, walls, etc., and as-built surveys for quality control and documentation purposes.

• Set up and maintain permanent control throughout the entire project.
• Validate accurate dimensions by reviewing architectural and structural drawings prior to execution.
• Layout footings, column lines (using batter-boards when feasible), re-bar placement, wall lines, embeds, anchor bolts, and more on site and store data points for layout accountability. Provide verification of layout points as necessary.
• Schedule calibration and maintenance of equipment when due and ensure WSI’s teams operate with well-maintained and accurate layout equipment.

• Proficient knowledge in AutoCAD and total stations survey equipment and software.
• Obtain OSHA 30 certification and CPR/First Aid.
• Experienced at problem solving and being an effective communicator.
• Strong knowledge of concrete construction principles/practices.
• Experienced with using advanced instruments and capable of using Total Station to perform layouts.
