Lead Concrete Estimator

As we scale our turnkey operations, we are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our pre-construction efforts, managing high-complexity bids and driving the financial feasibility of our most significant projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Structural Take-offs & Estimating: Execute high-precision structural concrete take-offs and develop comprehensive cost estimates using industry-leading software.
• Strategic Bid Selection: Evaluate a high volume of bid invitations to identify opportunities that align with our core expertise
• Technical Consultation: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, delivering professional project quotes and addressing complex pre-construction inquiries.
• Procurement & Vendor Relations: Manage and leverage relationships with material suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and accurate procurement forecasting.
• Operational Alignment: Provide executive management with detailed reasoning for estimates, including labor units per yard, manpower requirements, and realistic project schedules.

Candidate Profile

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience in structural concrete estimating.
• Technical Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of concrete-specific metrics (labor, equipment, and production rates) and a proven ability to interpret complex structural drawings.
• Background: Experience with in a General Contractor (GC) environment or a specialized structural concrete firm is highly preferred.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or 5–10 years of equivalent senior-level industry experience.
