We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and lead field operations for electrical construction projects across the Atlanta area. The ideal candidate will be a hands‑on leader with a strong background in commercial and industrial construction, capable of ensuring projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This role is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a company with a long history of delivering comprehensive electrical solutions across diverse environments, including manufacturing facilities, warehouse distribution centers, cold storage projects, and other commercial/industrial sites.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily field operations across multiple construction sites within the Atlanta metro area.
- Coordinate with project management, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient execution of project plans.
- Manage on‑site personnel, including foremen, craft labor, and subcontractor trades, while maintaining high performance and accountability.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Schedule and lead daily briefings with field teams to clarify priorities, resolve issues, and communicate expectations.
- Monitor labor productivity and material usage to ensure alignment with project goals and budgets.
- Conduct field inspections to ensure compliance with design plans, contract documents, and applicable codes.
- Proactively identify risks and develop solutions to maintain progress and quality.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation including daily reports, RFIs, submittals, and jobsite logs.
- Minimum of 3‑5 years field experience as a Superintendent in electrical or general construction.
- Proven track record of managing commercial and industrial construction projects, preferably including cold storage, manufacturing, or distribution facilities.
- Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and construction best practices.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
- Exceptional problem‑solving skills with a proactive mindset.
- Commitment to enforcing safety and quality standards on every jobsite.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
