Job SummaryMiller Electric Structured Cabling & ICT Assistant Project Manager will work with various teams and clients to monitor project progress and provide oversight to ensure projects are completed promptly and within budget. The role also performs limited administrative tasks such as preparing invoices, estimating, and scheduling meetings as needed.
RequirementsAll work experience must have been performed inside a commercial building. Applicants must reside within the greater Atlanta area to be considered.

- Manage all low voltage projects in local and surrounding areas.
- Coordinate low-voltage projects with managers in the local office to ensure timely completion.
- Track and report project progress.
- Generate bills of material with supply distributor to deliver material to projects.
- Meet clients and build long-term relationships.
- Supervise low voltage technicians within the Atlanta area.
- Schedule technicians from projects to local service calls.
- Coordinate project labor for other PMs within the IS business unit and local managers.
- Assist with all low voltage project estimates in the Atlanta area and other locations.
- Conduct site surveys to determine estimates.
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and documents to prepare estimates.
- Prepare blueprint take-offs and input into estimation software (Con Est).
- Prepare narrative for low voltage scope proposals for projects.
- All work experience must have been performed inside a commercial building.
- Minimum two years’ experience in copper (Cat6, Cat6A) and fiber optic (SM/MM) cabling, installation, splicing, termination, and testing inside a commercial building.
- Minimum two years’ experience reading blueprints, site layouts, and performing site surveys.
- Minimum two years’ experience with testing equipment (e.g., Fluke) and troubleshooting tools inside a commercial building.
- Minimum two years’ experience with racks, patch panels, raceways, and cable management inside a commercial building.
- Project management experience (any level).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
