Job Description

As the Traveling Superintendent, you will report to a senior field leader and take full responsibility for on-site delivery of ground-up retail construction projects across the Southeast.

• Lead day-to-day site operations on ground-up retail builds
• Manage schedules, subcontractors, inspections, and site logistics
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance across all phases of construction
• Coordinate with Project Managers, owners, and inspectors to maintain progress
• Oversee multiple retail formats including grocery, gas stations, and big-box
• Maintain accurate site documentation, reporting, and look-ahead schedules
• Drive projects through closeout and turnover with minimal punch lists

The Successful Applicant

For the Traveling Superintendent - Ground-Up Retail Construction, we are seeking:

• Proven experience as a Superintendent on ground-up retail construction
• Background delivering grocery, gas station, big-box, or similar retail projects
• Strong scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and field leadership skills
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout the Southeast region
• Solid understanding of safety standards and quality control
• Experience using construction management software and digital reporting tools
• A self-starter who thrives with autonomy and minimal micromanagement
