Job Description
As the Traveling Superintendent, you will report to senior operations leadership and take full ownership of site execution on ground-up correctional facilities.
- Lead day-to-day field operations from mobilization through close-out
- Oversee schedules, site logistics, safety, and quality control
- Coordinate subcontractors, inspectors, and municipal stakeholders
- Enforce safety programs and maintain a zero-incident culture
- Drive schedule adherence and resolve field issues proactively
- Partner closely with Project Managers to manage scope and sequencing
- Represent the company professionally with owners and public agencies

The Successful Applicant
For the Traveling Superintendent role we are seeking:
- Proven experience delivering ground-up correctional or detention facilities
- Background on large public-sector or municipal construction projects
- Experience managing projects valued from $5 million to $100 million+
- Strong knowledge of scheduling, safety, and quality control processes
- Ability to travel extensively and lead teams across multiple sites
- Proficiency with construction software such as Procore and Microsoft Project
- A hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments
- Base salary: $100,000 - $135,000 depending on experience
