Position: Project Manager I

Job Overview

Project Manager I – Southwest Region (Atlanta, GA). Immediate opening. Join Ryan Companies US, Inc. to oversee planning, execution, and completion of commercial construction projects with focus on quality, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in owner/client sales presentations.
  • Participate in design development, budget preparation, and project scheduling.
  • Share job cost responsibility with supervising PM or Division Manager; keep supervisor informed.
  • Under supervision prepare and control budget, schedule, bid documents; negotiate and award subcontracts; help prepare profit projections.
  • Conduct jobsite coordination meetings and status reports.
  • Conduct project close‑out duties including final cost, punch list, final billing and fee collection.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years of commercial construction experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and other project‑management tools.
  • Knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing.
  • Verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience managing light industrial projects (office/warehouse, retail, strip malls).
  • Ability to assume responsibility and communicate effectively with superintendents, subcontractors, and owners/clients.
  • At least six months of estimating/pre‑construction and field experience.
  • 4+ years of design‑build projects, especially during design and pre‑construction phases.
  • 4+ years of healthcare construction experience.
