Job Overview
Project Manager I – Southwest Region (Atlanta, GA). Immediate opening. Join Ryan Companies US, Inc. to oversee planning, execution, and completion of commercial construction projects with focus on quality, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in owner/client sales presentations.
- Participate in design development, budget preparation, and project scheduling.
- Share job cost responsibility with supervising PM or Division Manager; keep supervisor informed.
- Under supervision prepare and control budget, schedule, bid documents; negotiate and award subcontracts; help prepare profit projections.
- Conduct jobsite coordination meetings and status reports.
- Conduct project close‑out duties including final cost, punch list, final billing and fee collection.
- Minimum of 4 years of commercial construction experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project and other project‑management tools.
- Knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing.
- Verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Experience managing light industrial projects (office/warehouse, retail, strip malls).
- Ability to assume responsibility and communicate effectively with superintendents, subcontractors, and owners/clients.
- At least six months of estimating/pre‑construction and field experience.
- 4+ years of design‑build projects, especially during design and pre‑construction phases.
- 4+ years of healthcare construction experience.
