Senior Estimator - Heavy-Civil​/Infrastructure - Atlanta

We are partnering with a growing heavy civil contractor in Atlanta that is looking to add an experienced Senior Estimator to its leadership team.

• Lead estimating efforts for heavy civil construction projects
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, takeoffs, and bid submissions
• Review plans, specifications, and project documentation
• Develop pricing strategies and evaluate subcontractor/vendor proposals
• Manage and mentor a small estimating team
• Support business development initiatives and client relationships
• Participate in preconstruction planning and bid strategy discussions
• Collaborate closely with operations and project management teams
• Identify project risks and opportunities during the tender phase

• Proven estimating experience within heavy civil construction
• Background in civil infrastructure, site development, utilities, grading, earthworks, or related sectors
• Experience leading or mentoring junior estimators
• Strong communication, relationship‑building, and commercial awareness
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment
• Willingness to work from the Atlanta office at least 4 days per week
