DMR General Contractors, LLC is looking for a Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee projects across the Southeast. The Superintendent oversees all on-site aspects of commercial construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards of the client. This role coordinates subcontractors, manages schedules, enforces safety protocols, and serves as the primary point of contact for field operations.

This role is 100% on site for the duration of the project. Job location may change as needed per project – lodging and meal and phone allowances provided.

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial construction, with a focus on QSR, retail, banking, etc. projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schedules and specifications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • OSHA 30 certified (DMR will pay for class/certification if not applicable)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple trades and fast-paced schedules.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily on-site operations for commercial construction projects.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and building codes.
  • Maintain project schedules and adjust timelines as needed to meet deadlines.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and safety compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, logs, and progress photos.
  • Lead site meetings and provide updates on project status.
  • Identify and resolve issues that may impact project timelines or budgets.
  • Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
