Position Overview

The Senior Estimator / Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects from initial loss through final completion while maintaining exceptional customer service and profitability. The role requires extensive experience in both mitigation and reconstruction operations, as well as the ability to confidently manage residential and commercial projects of varying size and complexity, including large-loss events. The ideal candidate possesses a strong sales mindset, outstanding communication skills, and a relentless drive to win new business while maintaining existing relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Manage restoration and reconstruction projects from start to finish.
  • Perform estimating and project management functions in a "Write & Run" environment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, adjusters, consultants, and property managers.
  • Develop accurate estimates using Xactimate.
  • Oversee mitigation and reconstruction operations.
  • Coordinate labor, subcontractors, equipment, and scheduling.
  • Monitor budgets, profitability, and project timelines.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout every phase of a project.
  • Respond to emergency losses and large-loss events when necessary.
  • Support business development and sales initiatives.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation and communication.
  • Travel occasionally as needed throughout the region.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5+ years of restoration industry experience.
  • Proven Write & Run Project Management experience.
  • Extensive experience in mitigation operations, reconstruction operations, residential restoration, commercial restoration, and large loss management.
  • Strong understanding of insurance program work (TPA), carrier guidelines & processes, and emergency response operations.
  • Required software experience:
    Xactimate (Expert Level), Microsoft Office Suite, DASH or similar restoration management platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Symbility experience.
  • IICRC certifications.
  • Large commercial project experience.
  • Business development and sales experience.
  • Existing industry relationships within the Atlanta market.
