Civil Superintendent

We're hiring for an experienced Civil Superintendent. The Superintendent will be expected to manage onsite construction for civil construction projects to ensure project completion on time and on budget, while following company safety guidelines/procedures. The superintendent will be responsible for supervision of the project in the field providing leadership, coordination, and management of craft personnel and subcontractors. We're looking for reliable and hard-working individuals that take pride in their work.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all phases of construction from planning to completion, while providing accurate status updates and reporting to the management team
• Manage and lead subcontractors onsite
• Supervise equipment operators, and help train personnel in safe operations of equipment when needed
• Assist in cost estimating for supplies, labor, materials, etc.
• Work closely with Project Managers the clearly understand project and budget, and implement field work accordingly
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely equipment and materials delivery
• Time Sheet management
• Administer safety programs and adhere to company safety guidelines/protocols
• Customer service repesentation
• Quality Control Program Administration
• Provide onsite training to employees
• Project Procurement
• Project Scheduling
• Client Relations

Requirements:

• 5-10 years' Civil Construction management experience
• Excellent communication skills including, writing, speaking, and active listening
• Bachelor's or Associates Degree preferred, or relevant Civil Construction Project experience
• Knowledge of Project Management software and processes
• Knowledge of construction equipment including inspections, safe operating practices, maintenance
• OSHA site safety experience
• Knowledge of construction budgeting best practices
• Microsoft Office Proficient
