Client: An established GC in Atlanta is looking for a preconstruction leader to oversee its preconstruction team. This person will step into a hands‑on leadership role, working closely with estimators, the bid coordinator, business development, and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Atlanta preconstruction function
- Manage the estimating team
- Work with business development to help identify and secure profitable project opportunities
- Lead RFPs, bid strategy, project team planning, and preconstruction approach
- Review drawings, scopes, pricing, and bid coverage
Ideal Background:
- Strong preconstruction or estimating experience with a GC
- Background with commercial construction in the Atlanta market
- Proven ability to lead bids, manage teams, and improve win rates
- Strong local relationships and market knowledge
