Superintendent - Interiors

We are working with a General Contractor specializing in Corporate Workplace, Healthcare (hospital, lab, sterile environments, etc.) or Higher Education projects who are seeking an experienced Superintendent to join their team.

• Responsible for all phases of the construction project including coordinating subcontractors, material, and equipment, ensuring that specifications are strictly followed and work proceeds on schedule and within budget
• Responsible for scheduling, inspections, quality control and job site safety
• Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure a timely project completion
• Communicate with project team regarding material submittals
• Confirm that subcontractors are fully executing and complying with contracted scope
• Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality standards
• Advise project team of conflicts in construction progress
• Ensure the jobsite if kept in a clean and organized manner erform job progress schedule (two week look ahead) through project completion
• Maintain daily log of activities on the jobsite
• Identify work areas that are outside of subcontracted scope
• Opening and closing of jobsite each day
• Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions
• Preside a preconstruction meeting and weekly subcontractor coordination meetings with subcontractors
• Other duties as assigned

• Minimum 5 years’ of verifiable construction experience through knowledge of trades
• Computer knowledge (Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Outlook)
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as construction drawings, submittals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals
