Project Engineer - Heavy Civil / Large-Diameter Water Main

A General Contractor is hiring a Project Engineer for a heavy civil scope on a major data center project in the San Francisco Bay Area. This role will support a water main extension involving large-diameter pipe, underground utilities, coordination with field operations, and day-to-day project engineering support.

• Heavy civil water main extension work on a live data center project
• Large-diameter pipe installation, underground utilities, excavation/backfill, and related civil infrastructure
• RFIs, submittals, document control, project tracking, change documentation, and field coordination
• Coordination with superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, inspectors, owners, and design teams
• Daily production tracking, schedule support, quality documentation, and safety coordination

• 2+ years of experience in heavy civil, underground utilities, pipeline, water/wastewater, or similar civil infrastructure work
• Exposure to large-diameter pipe, water main, sewer, storm drain, or utility installation is strongly preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and field coordination skills
• Ability to work on-site and support a fast-moving construction team
• Civil engineering, construction management, or related background preferred
