Position Overview
The mission of the Site Safety Coordinator is to promote a strong health and safety culture across the jobsite while supporting an accident‑free work environment.
This role reports to the Assistant Safety Director and serves as the on‑site safety liaison between the project team, subcontractors, customers, and owners.
As an Onsite Safety Coordinator, you will:
- Conduct daily and weekly job‑site safety assessments and inspections
- Ensure OSHA and Inglett & Stubbs safety policies are followed consistently
- Document unsafe conditions and implement immediate corrective actions
- Coordinate safety training, certifications, and compliance requirements
- Provide daily safety orientations for all employees and subcontractors
- Support hazard analysis and proactive safety planning
- Lead accident reporting and investigation efforts as needed
- Maintain safety records and required documentation
Successful candidates will have:
- 3+ years of experience in a construction safety role
- OSHA 500 Certification (required minimum)
- CPR / First Aid Certification
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and NFPA 70E
- BCSP credential (preferred)
- Associate or bachelor’s degree (preferred)
