Construction Manager/ Foreman, Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Site Manager
Actively seeking a Project Superintendent for a Construction project on Submarine Base, Kings Bay. The scope involves Electrical Upgrades to three buildings.
This position will require being onsite and present to manage construction and advise on quality and productivity issues while monitoring work performance with productivity of subcontractors to ensure project plans and schedule are followed and to ensure project is executed effectively within budget and on time. This position also requires the applicant to develop and monitor construction schedules, manpower utilization, material handling, storage requirements, and equipment use according to government and contractual guidelines.
REQUIREMENTS- 5 years of DOD/DOE experience
- 10 years of construction experience with at least 5 of those years as a Superintendent
- The individual must be familiar with the requirements of EM 385-1-1 and have experience in the areas of hazard identification and safety compliance.
- The individual must be capable of interpreting a criticalpath schedule and construction drawings.
- Be able to reliably commute or relocate
- Have a valid driver’s license
Note:
Applicants must pass a background check for baseentry and possess, and be able to obtain prior to final hire, favorable suitability, and trustworthiness determination in the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS). Active Security Clearance is preferred but not required.
This job is a Direct-Hire, Full-Time position. Candidates local to Kings Bay/Kingsland/St. Mary's area are preferred, but relocation and/or travel compensation can be entertained for qualified candidates.
