Superintendent​/Asst. Project Manager

Collaborative Real Estate (CollabRE) is hiring an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent and Project Manager to join our Atlanta-based team. With 25+ years partnering with well-capitalized education and research institutions, we deliver and operate award-winning projects across the U.S.

This unique role combines owner's representation with management of our in-house construction team. You'll oversee capital projects from planning through closeout while leading our self-perform crew on smaller renovation and improvement projects.

You’ll play two roles at once:

• Owner's representative where you'll oversee a portfolio of active capital improvement projects, typically ranging from approximately 15–25 projects in various phases of planning, construction, and closeout, protecting the owner's interests on quality, schedule, and budget.
• Manager, estimator, and superintendent of a small internal general construction team, self-performing light commercial and office/retail upfit work.

Day to day, you'll estimate project costs and source subcontractor quotes, build and manage master schedules and budgets, lead design review, coordinate architects/engineers/subs, monitor job-site progress and safety, administer contracts and change orders, track project costs against budget, and keep owners informed with clear, consistent reporting.

Project scopes include
: commercial office renovation and tenant improvements, major MEP upgrades to office and lab spaces, asset preservation (roofing, exterior, elevator, MEP), sustainability improvements, and due-diligence inspections.

• Minimum 3 years as a Construction Project Manager or Superintendent
• Hands‑on knowledge of light commercial construction (rough/finish carpentry, drywall, paint, repairs)
• Strong estimating, scheduling, and financial‑tracking skills
• A self‑starter who can independently stand up project and payment tracking systems
• Excellent communication — you'll be the owner's trusted advisor and voice on every project team
• Bachelor's in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field pref

  Industry certifications (PMP, CCM) or eligibility for a Georgia General Contractors' license are a plus
