About the OpportunityA highly respected General Contractor with a strong presence across the Southeast is seeking a Civil Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on private/site development and GDOT projects in the Marietta and Metro Atlanta area. If you're a Superintendent who takes pride in your work, values safety and quality, and wants to work with a company that empowers their field leaders-this is the role for you.
Job Duties- Daily onsite supervision for civil, site development, and GDOT roadway projects
- Coordination of crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials
- Ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance
- Reading/interpreting civil plans, grade stakes, and specifications
- Collaborating closely with Project Managers on schedule and logistics
- Maintaining strong relationships with inspectors, engineers, and owners
- Coaching and developing field personnel
- Ensuring compliance with GDOT standards and local regulations
- Proven background in civil construction, earthwork, utilities, site development, or GDOT projects
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to manage multiple moving parts
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain a productive, organized, and safe jobsite
- Experience with daily documentation and basic scheduling tools
(Years of experience are flexible - demonstrated field leadership and performance matter most.)
