Infrastructure & Capital Projects – Mechanical Construction Manager, ANS

Responsibilities

• Prepare mechanical scopes of work, RFPs, budgets, and manage payment applications for HVAC, piping, plumbing, and other MEP systems.
• Administer mechanical construction contracts from procurement through installation, commissioning, and project closeout.
• Oversee scheduling, sequencing, permitting, startup, and turnover activities for critical mechanical systems within data center environments.
• Manage mechanical subcontractors and enforce health & safety standards across all mechanical construction activities onsite.
• Review mechanical installation progress for quality and compliance with design drawings, specifications, and commissioning requirements.
• Lead and document coordination meetings with Owners, Engineers, Architects, General Contractors, and trade partners.
• Report to senior leadership on mechanical construction performance, including cost, schedule, risk, quality, and commissioning readiness.

Onsite at client site:
The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Mechanical Construction Management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience managing HVAC, plumbing, piping, and other MEP systems on large-scale construction projects; hyperscale or mission‑critical data center experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical construction means and methods, MEP systems, commissioning processes, and construction management best practices.
• Demonstrated experience negotiating contracts, change orders, subcontractor agreements, and project‑related commercial matters.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate with Owners, Engineers, Contractors, and cross‑functional project teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to manage schedules, budgets, and project reporting.
• Highly organized and detail‑oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast‑paced data center construction environments.
