Solar Construction Manager (Utility-Scale Projects)
Join a leading solar tracking manufacturer and installation firm as a Solar Construction Manager, where you'll serve as a subject matter expert overseeing and/or instructing subcontracting construction companies in the installation of large-scale solar tracker systems across the country. This is a high-impact role for professionals with hands-on experience in utility-scale solar construction and a passion for delivering quality and safety.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage on-site construction activities, ensuring timely and high-quality installations of solar tracking systems.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, electricians, and labor crews to coordinate schedules, resolve issues, and maintain safety compliance.
- Interpret mechanical and electrical schematics to support installation workflows.
- Conduct and document safety meetings in alignment with OSHA standards.
- Support project planning including material takeoffs, sequencing, and subcontractor scope reviews.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Provide technical guidance on electrical and mechanical components to field teams.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in utility-scale solar construction, with 2+ years in a leadership role (Superintendent, Construction Manager, Owner Rep, or QC Manager).
- Strong understanding of solar tracker systems - hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction reporting tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and construction math skills.
- Proven leadership and client relationship management.
- Willingness to travel nationwide up to 100% of the time.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA.
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $95000.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
