Project Manager – Industrial Construction
Language: Japanese Required (Business Level or Above)

Salary: $100,000–$150,000
Employment Type: Full-time (Exempt)
Visa Sponsorship&Relocation Assistance: Available for qualified candidates
Travel: Project-based role requiring full-time onsite presence. Company-paid travel home approximately every 3 weeks.
Position OverviewA Japanese company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead industrial Design-Build and Process EPC projects from pre-construction through project completion. This role is responsible for project planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, subcontractor management, financial performance, and overall project delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Design-Build and Process EPC projects from planning through close-out
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, procurement, and forecasting
- Oversee project profitability (P&L) and financial reporting
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors
- Lead and mentor Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams
- Manage project documentation, contracts, change orders, and reporting
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards
- Coordinate inspections, commissioning, and final project turnover
Required
- Business-level or higher Japanese language proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 7+ years of Project Management experience in the construction industry
- Experience managing industrial construction, Design-Build, or EPC projects
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, procurement, contract administration, and project financial management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Procore
Preferred
- Manufacturing or industrial facility construction experience
- Master's degree in a related field
- Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams
