Position OverviewOur client is seeking an experienced Concrete Superintendent to lead field operations on bridge construction, flat concrete, roadway, and highway projects
. Reporting to the Director of Operations
, this individual will oversee daily jobsite activities, manage crews and subcontractors, coordinate schedules and materials, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate is a hands‑on field leader with strong heavy civil construction experience, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to successfully manage multiple jobsite activities while partnering closely with Project Managers and field personnel.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily field operations for bridge, roadway, highway, and flat concrete construction projects.
- Supervise field crews, subcontractors, and equipment to maximize productivity and safety.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and project schedules to meet milestones.
- Monitor project progress to ensure work is completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications.
- Enforce company safety standards and quality control procedures.
- Review construction plans, specifications, and schedules to ensure proper project execution.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors to resolve field issues and maintain project momentum.
- Track daily production, jobsite activities, and project documentation.
- Identify potential delays and proactively implement solutions to keep projects moving.
- Foster a positive, safety‑focused culture while leading field teams.
- 3+ years of experience as a Concrete Superintendent, Foreman, or similar leadership role in heavy civil construction.
- Proven experience with bridge construction, roadway, highway, and flat concrete projects.
- Strong knowledge of concrete construction methods, field operations, and quality standards.
- Experience managing crews, subcontractors, and multiple concurrent jobsite activities.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency with Vista (Viewpoint) is preferred.
- Base Salary: $100,000–$135,000, depending on experience.

- Paid Time Off (PTO) begins accruing on the first day of employment and is available after three months. PTO may be used for vacation, illness, or personal time, with accrual based on the calendar year.
- Regular travel between project sites throughout the region is required.
- Company truck provided for business travel, including fuel expenses.
- Employees may be eligible to take the company vehicle home after approximately three months, based on performance and business needs.
