Senior Electrical Estimator

Quest Group is actively recruiting for a Senior Electrical Estimator who will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial, industrial, institutional, and multifamily construction projects. Working as part of the preconstruction team, this role analyzes project plans and specifications, solicits and evaluates subcontractor and supplier pricing, prepares detailed quantity takeoffs, and develops comprehensive bid proposals. The Electrical Estimator plays a critical role in helping the company secure profitable projects while maintaining high standards of accuracy and risk management.

• sReview drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements
• .Perform detailed electrical quantity takeoffs using estimating software and manual methods as needed
• .Prepare accurate conceptual, budgetary, and hard bid estimates
• .Solicit, evaluate, and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations
• .Identify scope gaps, overlaps, exclusions, and value engineering opportunities
• .Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, engineers, architects, and owners during the estimating process
• .Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits when required
• .Prepare bid summaries, pricing breakdowns, alternates, and proposal documents
• .Maintain current labor, equipment, and material cost databases
• .Analyze historical cost data to improve estimating accuracy
• .Review subcontractor qualifications and recommend award selections
• .Assist with project handoffs to operations after contract award
• .Support change order pricing and cost analysis during construction
• .Monitor market pricing trends and material availability
• .Ensure all estimates comply with company standards, contract requirements, and project specifications
