Assistant Project Manager

Gordon Highlander is looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Assistant Superintendent to join our field operations team. This entry-level position is designed for individuals who are eager to learn, grow, and build a long-term career in commercial construction.

Working alongside experienced Superintendents, you'll gain hands‑on experience managing active construction projects while learning the fundamentals of field operations, safety, scheduling, quality control, and subcontractor coordination. • Assist Superintendents with the day‑to‑day management of commercial construction projects
• Help coordinate subcontractors and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards
• Monitor daily jobsite activities and support project scheduling
• Conduct site walks and help identify potential safety or quality concerns
• Assist with inspections, punch lists, and project closeout activities
• Maintain accurate project documentation, daily reports, and field records
• Coordinate material deliveries and help ensure jobsite organization
• Communicate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors
• Learn construction processes, project management principles, and field leadership responsibilities
• Support a safe, productive, and positive jobsite culture

• Interest in building a career in commercial construction

• Previous construction, trade, or field experience is a plus but not required
• OSHA 10 certification is a plus

• Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to project sites throughout the DFW area
