Greater Atlanta, GA Area Salary (DOE): $100k-$150k Requirements: 5+ Years Experience as a Superintendent on projects related to Commercial Tenant Improvement Projects
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent
- Commercial Interiors to oversee field operations for tenant improvement, office retrofit and renovation projects. The Superintendent will lead on-site teams, manage subcontractors, maintain schedule and budget compliance, ensure quality control and safety, and serve as the primary client liaison. Travel between project sites is required.
- Direct daily field operations for multiple commercial interior projects, including tenant improvements, office renovations and retrofits.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, trades, vendors and on-site staff to meet schedule and quality targets.
- Develop, maintain and drive project schedules; proactively identify and mitigate schedule risks.
- Enforce safety programs and site-specific safety plans; conduct site inspections and safety meetings.
- Read and interpret construction documents, drawings and specifications; ensure work conforms to plans.
- Coordinate materials delivery, logistics and site access to prevent delays.
- Conduct quality control inspections; perform punch lists and ensure timely closeout.
- Prepare daily reports, progress updates and communicate status to project managers and clients.
- Collaborate with project management on budget monitoring, change orders and scope adjustments.
- Support onboarding and mentoring of field staff and enforce company policies and procedures.
- 5+ years of superintendent experience on commercial interior projects (tenant improvement, office, retrofit or renovation).
- Proven track record managing multiple projects and subcontractors simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction means and methods, finish carpentry, MEP coordination and interior systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications and RFIs.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills; able to maintain professional relationships on-site.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel between project sites regularly.
- Proficient with project management tools and reporting; comfortable preparing daily reports and documenting site progress.
