Project Manager - Wastewater Construction

We're working with a leading self-performing heavy civil contractor that is continuing to grow its Water & Wastewater division across the Atlanta metro area. Due to a strong project pipeline, they are looking to add an experienced Project Manager to deliver complex municipal water and wastewater treatment plant projects.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor with long-term work, strong career progression, and minimal travel requirements.

• Manage water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and execution.
• Oversee project financial performance, including cost control, forecasting, and reporting.
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal operations teams.
• Support field teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Manage project documentation, contracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring high-quality project delivery.
• Mentor Assistant Project Managers and contribute to the continued growth of the business.

• Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering water and/or wastewater treatment plant construction projects

• Background working for a general contractor or self-performing contractor (contractor-side experience is essential).
• Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling, estimating, and contract administration.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive projects to successful completion.
• Experience with municipal or industrial treatment facilities is highly desirable.
