Are you a detail-oriented cost professional who enjoys turning complex financial data into actionable insights? We're seeking a Cost Manager to support major construction and infrastructure projects by leading cost analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting efforts.
In this role, you'll partner with project managers, engineers, estimators, and construction stakeholders to help drive financial performance across a diverse portfolio of projects. You'll join a collaborative team that values mentorship, professional development, and long-term career growth.

What You'll Do
As a Cost Manager, you will:
+ Analyze project costs, staffing plans, and financial performance to support construction operations.
+ Develop and maintain cost models, forecasts, and financial projections.
+ Monitor key cost drivers and identify risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
+ Perform detailed variance analysis and provide recommendations to project leadership.
+ Support capital budget development and long-range financial planning.
+ Research and summarize financial transactions and project events for reporting purposes.
+ Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations for project and executive stakeholders.
+ Collaborate with cost engineers, estimators, planners, project managers, contractors, and engineering teams.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
+ 5+ years of experience in project controls, cost management, cost engineering, or cost control within EPC, construction, or infrastructure projects.
+ Experience supporting large-scale construction or energy-related projects.
+ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including functions such as VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, pivot tables, and financial modeling.
+ Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, estimating, and financial analysis.
+ Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
+
Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, or other construction management software.
+ Familiarity with project controls, earned value management, or capital project reporting.
+ Experience supporting projects ranging from $200K to $1M+.
+ Experience in energy, utilities, renewables, industrial, or infrastructure construction.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $72.16/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
