Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Pre-Construction Manager to strengthen their estimating and planning capabilities and help set projects up for success from day one.

The Senior Pre-Construction Manager leads preconstruction efforts, overseeing estimating, budgeting, and planning from initial project pursuit through the transition to construction. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal project teams while ensuring every project starts with an accurate, well-vetted budget and a clear path to execution.

• Leading preconstruction activities, estimating, budgeting, and project planning.
• Preparing conceptual, schematic, and detailed estimates.
• Reviewing quantity takeoffs, pricing, and cost data for accuracy.
• Leading value engineering efforts and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Developing and managing GMP proposals and budgets.
• Managing subcontractor solicitation, scope development, and bid leveling.
• Building strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Working with owners, architects, and engineers during the design process.
• Providing constructability and cost feedback.
• Participating in owner meetings, proposals, and presentations.
• Supporting business development efforts.
• Leading the transition from preconstruction to Project Management and field teams.
• Ensuring budgets, scopes, schedules, and assumptions are clearly communicated.
• Partnering with Project Managers and Superintendents throughout construction.

• 5+ years of commercial construction preconstruction, estimating, or project management experience.
• Proven experience leading preconstruction efforts on increasingly complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost drivers.
• Experience with Timberline, On-Screen Takeoff, Plan Swift, Bluebeam, or similar software.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and applicable construction regulations.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Candidates may work from either our Atlanta or Moultrie, Georgia office.
