Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Job Title
Manages Self-Perform Work (SPW) construction project individuals to deliver high-quality results and foster professional growth. Oversees the successful delivery of SPW construction projects by providing advanced expertise in self-perform construction activities, to ensure successful project execution in alignment with standards and methodologies. Manages and aligns SPW workers, subcontractors, and external partners to ensure project requirements, schedules, and quality standards are consistently achieved.
Ensures efficient project execution by actively managing SPW team productivity, monitoring progress, analyzing project performance, identifying and resolving both routine and complex issues, and managing project budgets, forecasts, contracts, and cost controls to achieve financial targets and mitigate risks. Cultivates a collaborative and inclusive team environment by modeling positive leadership behaviors, fostering open communication, and actively promoting organizational values and frameworks to enhance team engagement, professional growth, and project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leads, manages, and develops a team of construction SPW project individuals to achieve exceptional performance and encourage talent development.
- Oversees end-to-end execution of self-perform work scopes by collaborating with SPW project teams, monitoring progress, and addressing escalated, complex issues to ensure timely completion.
- Oversees and approves procurement of SPW-specific materials, equipment, and specialty trade subcontractors as needed, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with SPW work sequences and field requirements.
- Communicates SPW project status, risks, and changes to stakeholders, leveraging advanced knowledge in SPW means and methods.
- Evaluates SPW project performance, identifies areas for improvement, and implements corrective actions.
- Reviews comprehensive SPW project documentation for compliance, reporting, and future reference, while actively managing project costs and forecasting to support financial control and informed decision-making.
Education
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, a related field, or equivalent experience required.
Work Experience:
7 years of experience in construction engineering, project engineering, or a related field required. 1 - 2 years of experience in a managerial capacity preferred.
Certifications and Licenses:
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-Hour Construction certification preferred. OSHA 30 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.
