Senior Superintendent

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Superintendent to lead all field operations on commercial and industrial construction projects. The role involves scheduling, coordinating, inspecting, and directing subcontractors to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to high standards. The Senior Superintendent will work closely with Project Managers during all project phases, maintaining responsibility for field leadership and job site performance.

• Lead all field construction activities and coordinate subcontractors.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce project schedules.
• Conduct project startup, planning, logistics, and sequencing activities.
• Manage quality control and ensure work complies with contract documents.
• Participate in subcontractor buyout and scope review meetings.
• Facilitate weekly subcontractor meetings and progress updates.
• Coordinate material deliveries and procurement tracking.
• Maintain as-built drawings and project documentation.
• Work closely with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Manage project safety programs and ensure subcontractor compliance.
• Mentor Assistant Superintendents and field personnel.
• Lead project closeout activities and transition projects to clients.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to run a project independently from groundbreaking through turnover.
• Deep understanding of construction means and methods.
• Strong knowledge of tilt-wall construction and sitework.
• Excellent scheduling and planning capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and subcontractors.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of construction safety programs and OSHA requirements.
• Ability to interpret plans, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Build, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and project management software.

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 12+ years of construction experience preferred.
• Demonstrated success as a Superintendent on large commercial construction projects.
• OSHA 30 Certification required.
• First Aid, CPR, and Safety Training required.
• Georgia Soil & Water Conservation Commission Level 1A Certification required.
• Experience leading large industrial, warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or commercial projects.
• Experience managing project schedules, logistics, subcontractors, and safety programs.

This role primarily operates on active construction sites and project offices. Candidates should be comfortable working in outdoor environments and navigating large-scale construction projects. Most projects are located in the Atlanta area; however, travel to Jacksonville and other regional markets may be required. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA.

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $79.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
