Job Description
This role will be an on-site, single-site scheduler working with subcontractors and the owner on a daily basis. This role will travel home twice a month and will work for a nationally renowned general contractor.
This scheduler will support large-scale turnkey data center projects. In this role, you will lead project scheduling efforts, partner with project teams, subcontractors, and owners, and help drive successful project execution through planning, forecasting, and schedule management. This position supports one of the company's fastest-growing business units and offers the opportunity to play a key role in repeatable, large-scale data center developments across the country.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain CPM schedules using Primavera P6 from proposal through project completion.
- Analyze project progress, identify risks and delays, and develop recovery plans.
- Support Pull Planning, Lean construction efforts, and schedule impact analysis.
- Collaborate with project managers, field teams, clients, and trade partners to keep projects on track.
- Conduct site visits and provide schedule reporting, forecasting, and change management support.
- Mentor junior schedulers and contribute to company scheduling standards and best practices.
- 5+ years of construction scheduling experience.
- Advanced Primavera P6 proficiency.
- Strong understanding of CPM scheduling, construction sequencing, and project controls.
- Experience with schedule recovery, delay analysis, and change management.
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience supporting data center or mission‑critical projects.
- Lean Construction and Pull Planning experience.
Travel:
This role requires periodic travel to project sites throughout the U.S., including locations such as Kansas City, Bowling Green, El Paso, Nashville, and Atlanta. Project assignments may support long‑duration construction programs lasting 2 to 3 years. Travel assistance, per diem support, and reimbursable project‑related expenses are provided based on assignment requirements.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $67.31 - $76.92/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
