MEP Coordinator - Electrical

Join a dynamic and collaborative team dedicated to delivering high-quality MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) construction projects. As an MEP Construction Coordinator, you will play a key role in bridging owner project requirements with onsite activities and commissioning. This position offers the opportunity to lead documentation, ensure quality, and facilitate cross-trade communication on complex projects. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced construction environment.

• Plan and coordinate installation methods to align with project design requirements, ensuring compliance and quality standards are met.
• Serve as a primary point of contact onsite, facilitating communication between owner representatives, subcontractors, field service representatives, and commissioning agents.
• Lead and document commissioning readiness activities, including pre-functional checks and load-soak preparation, while maintaining structured reporting.
• Manage field documentation using Procore, including punch lists, pre-task verifications, and safety walkdowns (such as LOTO and PPE compliance).
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including photos, checklists, and punch items, and communicate project status and risks to leadership and clients.
• Escalate issues as needed to keep the project schedule on track, especially when project leadership is offsite.

• 3–5 years of construction experience, with a preference for electrical backgrounds.
• 2 years of trade school, college, or equivalent journeyman experience.
• Proficiency in Procore and Adobe/PDF editing tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, specifications, and one-line diagrams.
• Working knowledge of ATS, UPS, and switch gear systems, with exposure to commissioning and EPMS/SCADA concepts.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within North America as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Preferred: OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire);
  Schneider PME certification is a plus.
