We are currently seeking a highly organized and motivated Event Coordinator to join our team in Atlanta. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event planning and logistics, with exceptional communication and time-management skills. As an Event Coordinator at Captura Hall, you will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of various events from concept to completion.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including venues, vendors, schedules, and resources
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event goals and requirements
- Assist in budget management and track expenses to ensure cost-efficiency
- Prepare detailed event timelines, checklists, and reports
- Conduct site visits and manage on-site event operations
- Ensure events comply with health, safety, and legal regulations
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during planning or execution phases
- Work with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality experiences
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in event planning or coordination
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple events and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel when necessary
