ACLU of Georgia welcomes interns each spring, summer, and fall across legal, policy, communications, community engagement, and voter access teams. We accept students at all levels, including high school, undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate.
We are currently accepting applications for the Summer 2026 term, running approximately May 27 through August 14, 2026. Dates may vary based on department needs and academic schedules. Schedules will be coordinated directly with each intern's supervisor.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so early submission is encouraged. The priority. Due to the expected volume of applications, we may close the posting earlier if needed.
All applicants must submit a resume. Some candidates may be asked to provide additional materials. This semester's internship is offered for academic credit only.
Communications
Interns in this position will be responsible for a variety of duties related to communicating the ACLU of Georgia's work to the public, with the focus on content creation. Examples include creating video projects and graphics for social media, mainly Tik Tok and Instagram. Interns should have an interest and strong background in video editing, design, social media marketing and writing for a digital audience.
