Customer Service/Warranty Representative
We are searching for an experienced Customer Service/Warranty Representative to join our Plant 23 DMP-Atlanta-GA facility.
Dexter is the premier manufacturer and supplier of axles, suspension, brakes, doors, venting products, trailer parts, accessories, and towing components serving the commercial trailer, RV, heavy‑duty, marine, agriculture, and manufactured housing markets.
Job Description- Respond to customer inquiries both in person and over the phone.
- Maintain system information including product pricing and availability.
- Enter customer orders, suggesting additional products and providing technical assistance as needed.
- Contact truck run customers to ensure orders are placed in a timely manner.
- Make same‑day follow‑up calls to customers regarding back‑orders and delivery dates.
- Actively participate in company‑defined sales initiatives to solicit potential customers and existing customers whose sales have declined.
- Research customer service complaints and answer customer questions; consult with management for directions to resolve complaints.
- Research all customer warranty and/or return requests, completing the appropriate forms and documentation.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to develop product knowledge.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Self‑starter with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- 1‑2 years’ experience in customer service.
