Position Summary
Under general supervision, answers incoming calls from customers to schedule appointments, answer questions, troubleshoot problems, and provide information. Obtains all pertinent information from callers to assist in ensuring a positive experience over the phone and for a smooth and efficient visit to the clinic.
Duties- Perform patient scheduling, registration, messaging, and customer service duties.
- Verify patient demographics and insurance coverage, data entry.
- Identify and escalate priority issues.
- Route calls to appropriate resource.
- Follow up on customer calls where necessary.
- Document all call information according to standard operating procedures.
Education: 2 years of college or an Associate Degree
Experience: 2 years of customer services experience. In lieu of education requirements, experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.
