Community Associate

Address: 160 Clairemont Ave, Suite 200, 30030 Decatur

The world of work is changing—short commutes, flexibility, and convenience are the minimum standards employees want for how they work. At IWG, we are leading the way. We have built the world's largest workspace network so that our customers can work from wherever and however they want—across more than 120 countries worldwide.

Join us and help bring more freedom to people and businesses, while expanding our network. You'll be able to enjoy a great work‑life balance, competitive benefits, and a clear career path.

The opportunity

As a Community Associate, you will work closely with new and existing customers across a myriad of industries. You’ll create and maintain your own community within your center, handling all administrative and support needs so that customers can focus on running their businesses.

A typical day at IWG

You arrive a few minutes before your center opens to ensure everything is ready and there are no lingering issues from the cleaners.

Throughout the day customers request a variety of services: changes to WiFi codes, package pickups, meeting room directions, projector set‑ups, invoicing checks, and more. You handle each request promptly and accurately, ensuring that services are properly charged and invoices are correct.

You also manage mail, respond to customer emails, coordinate printing and invoicing support, and open service‑portal tickets when a client reports a problem—such as a room being too hot.

Lunch is a quick break, after which new customers arrive. You assist with printing, invoice queries, and ticket creation, then take another brief coffee break.

In the early afternoon, you collaborate with the Community Manager to organize next week’s networking event. You write e‑invites, create and post posters on center noticeboards, and share key details with prospects interested in joining the IWG community.

At the close of the day, you help wrap up large group meetings, recommend nearby restaurants, tidy the center, and then head home.

About you

We’re looking for someone who can manage multiple tasks while delivering excellent customer service. You also need to be:

  • A good communicator with the ability to build strong professional relationships and empathize with customers’ needs (ideally 1+ year of customer‑service experience).
  • Happy taking ownership of problems and finding solutions.
  • Positive, enthusiastic, and adaptable to fast‑changing situations.
  • Confident using MS Office and basic IT equipment.
  • Legally eligible to work in the country where you are applying and at least 18 years old.
What we offer

In addition to a competitive total compensation package, you’ll enjoy:

  • Work‑life balance (no standard nights or weekends).
  • Generous paid time‑off plans (sick and vacation).
  • 11 paid company holidays per calendar year, plus your PTO accrual.
  • Competitive 401(k) program with company match.
  • Affordable, comprehensive health care for all full‑time team members (with plans for part‑timers).
  • A quarterly bonus plan program, plus an hourly rate of $18.36.
  • A bright, inspiring work environment.
  • Training and development opportunities aligned with career‑path opportunities.
  • A professional workplace community (business casual attire required).

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, military or veteran status, national origin, or any other consideration protected by federal, state or local law.
