Customer Account Specialist

Location: Atlanta, GA 30328
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday

PRT Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Account Specialist to support customer account setup, pricing, and data maintenance for a leading supply chain organization. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in customer service, accounting support, logistics, transportation, or warehousing who enjoy working with data, systems, and cross-functional teams.

As a Customer Account Specialist, you'll play a key role in maintaining customer accounts, pricing, and operational data across multiple business systems.

• Set up new customer accounts in business systems
• Maintain customer information and pricing records
• Process high-volume rate updates and account changes
• Ensure customer and product information remains accurate and current
• Verify customer data aligns correctly across operational and financial systems
• Follow established compliance procedures for customer setup and maintenance
• Monitor service requests and upscale issues when necessary
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency
• Maintain productivity while meeting established service level expectations

Required

• 3+ years of experience in customer service, accounting, finance, logistics, transportation, or related business support
• Strong data entry and computer skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  
  Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including:

  • Power Point
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Experience with:
  • Salesforce CRM
  • SAP
  • Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
  • Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • AS400
• Basic accounting knowledge
• Experience with in food distribution, warehousing, transportation, or supply chain operations
