The part‑time coordinator plays a key role within the Event Sales & Services team, significantly contributing to positive relationships with clients, colleagues, vendors, and volunteers. This position is responsible for day‑of event execution, managing and updating essential daily, weekly, and monthly administrative tasks, and supporting the internship program.
Responsibilities:
Act as the lead coordinator for the execution of assigned Public and Private events, overseeing the coordination of an average of 3-5 events per week.

Consistently maintain a visible and accessible presence in the event space to engage with the client and event guests. Liaise with clients to identify their needs and to ensure customer satisfaction.

Support the Departmental Internship Program by helping review intern resumes, conducting initial phone interviews, and assisting with in‑person interviews for final candidates. After interns are selected, the coordinator will aid in their training and ongoing support throughout the program.

Maintain and update crucial daily, weekly & monthly administrative tasks to ensure successful and smooth event operations.

Work alongside key internal departments and effectively communicate day‑of event changes in a timely manner.

Skilled in engaging and building rapport with Special Event Volunteers, with a high level of comfort in delegating tasks to volunteers of varying ages.

Proactively identify and troubleshoot any challenges that arise during an event.

Serve as an exemplary role model in behavior, performance, and work ethic while working alongside departmental colleagues and teammates.

Deliver extraordinary customer service to all clients, guests, vendors, and colleagues.

Complete continued eLearning courses as needed.
