Job Description
This role involves processing permits and hydrant applications, coordinating with other department officials, and preparing required documentation. The person in this position responds to phone and email inquiries and water service requests, processes payments, and adjusts as needed. Candidates should be detail-oriented and able to supervise the permitting process within Cash Management operations. They will gather essential documents, keep applicants informed of their application status, and address issues or discrepancies related to licenses and permits.
They must have strong organizational and communication skills, as well as knowledge of Cash Management guidelines, for other responsibilities.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D., AND
- Three years of customer service experience, including one year in an office setting; OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above will also be considered.
- Valid Driver's License
- Call Center experience
- Permit experience
Job Requirements /Information
- This job is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule after an initial probationary period and individual approval.
The grade for this position is B22(1). Salary will be dependent on education and experience.
Effective 4/11/2023, this position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.
