Dental Front Office And Insurance Coordinator

Job Type: Full-time (Temp-Perm)

Schedule:

Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (No Fridays or weekends) Compensation: $22.00 – $27.00 per hour (Commensurate with experience)

Position Overview

Client is seeking an engaging, detail-oriented Dental Front Office And Insurance Coordinator to join our premier practice in Buckhead. You will serve as the primary bridge between our clinical diagnoses and financial arrangements. Your main goal is to help patients understand their treatment options, maximize their dental benefits, and seamlessly schedule their care.

Core Responsibilities

  • Patient Consultation:
    Present comprehensive treatment plans to patients clearly, breaking down clinical terms into easy-to-understand concepts.
  • Financial Arrangements:
    Calculate patient co-pays, verify insurance benefits, submit pre-authorizations, and present payment or financing options (e.g., Care Credit).
  • Scheduling Optimization:
    Manage the scheduling of all accepted treatment plans to maximize production goals and maintain efficient daily clinical flow.
  • Follow-up Management:
    Maintain consistent contact with patients who have outstanding treatment plans to answer lingering questions and resolve barriers to care.
  • Team

    Collaboration:

    Work closely with the dentist, hygienists, and front office team to ensure a seamless, high-quality patient experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience:

    Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a dental office environment, specifically presenting treatment plans and handling dental insurance.
  • Knowledge:
    Deep understanding of dental terminology, ADA codes, and insurance billing practices.
  • Software:
    Proficiency with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix)
  • Skills:

    Strong interpersonal communication, confident financial negotiation, and exceptional organizational skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced general dental practice
