Salary Range: $58,977 - $79,000 annually
General Description and Classification Standards:
The position involves the comprehensive development of complex building designs that not only meet aesthetic standards but also adhere to functional requirements and regulatory specifications. This requires an ability to create innovative solutions tailored to the specific needs and preferences of clients. Additionally, the role demands proactive communication and collaboration with clients, stakeholders, and a diverse range of professionals, including engineers, contractors, and urban planners.
This collaboration ensures that all aspects of the project align and that expectations are clearly understood and met, resulting in successful project completion.
The ideal candidate must exhibit exceptional design skills, showcasing creativity and attention to detail in their work. They should have a thorough understanding of architectural processes, including zoning laws, building codes, and sustainability practices. Furthermore, familiarity with all stages of the project life cycle is crucial from conceptual design and development to construction documentation and project management. This comprehensive knowledge allows the candidate to navigate challenges effectively, helping to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Supervision Received:
Performs work under general supervision with review and advice from manager or a senior level professional.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Develops architectural and interior designs in line with client specifications, budget, and local regulatory laws.
* Creates detailed architectural plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
* Presents designs, proposals, and progress reports to clients and stakeholders.
* Collaborates with engineers, contractors, and other professionals involved in the project.
* Oversees and guides the construction process, ensuring that the project adheres to the planned design, quality standards, and safety regulations.
* Manages project deadlines and budgets, and makes necessary adjustments to keep the project on track.
* Stays updated on the latest architectural trends, technologies, and regulations.
* Addresses any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process.
* Serves as a technical resource or mentor to other employees.
* May lead or instruct less experienced workers in high-level or technical roles.
* May perform other duties as assigned.

* Ability to: make and analyze comprehensive architectural designs.
* Ability to present information clearly and effectively in pictorial and written forms.
* Ability to analyze situations accurately, and adopt an effective course of action.
* Exceptional communication and project management skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members while ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
