C+TC is seeking an Interior Design Project Manager in its Atlanta location. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, C+TC provides creative solutions for hospitality and senior living spaces, providing a holistic blend of architecture and interior design. For more than 35 years, we’ve been designing award-winning spaces for a number of hotel flags including Marriott, Hilton, Omni, Ritz-Carlton, Hyatt, Intercontinental, Kimpton, Regent, Fairmont, Westin and Wyndham.
We also have valuable experience working with luxury senior living brands such as All Seasons, Atria Senior Living and Longview.
C+TC is seeking an Architectural professional with 3-5 years relevant experience (Project Architect I with License, or Architectural Designer II prior to license). This position works directly and closely with our clients to establish project scope, specifications, and budgets throughout the duration of Architecture and Design projects in the Hospitality sector.
Responsible for delivery of all aspects of project work: proposals, programming, planning, documenting, budgeting, and execution of a wide scope of complex projects.
- Supervision and Management: Manage activities of staff with both direct line and "dotted line" responsibilities. Train staff as assigned.
- Industry Networking: Participates and networks with industry, and client events, industry associations, affiliate organizations, etc.
- Innovation and Emerging Technologies: Keeps themselves and the firm attuned and current to emerging technologies, practices, and tools. (e.g., AI)
- Financial and Resource Budgeting: Responsible for assigning hours and managing budgets to insure profitability.
- Internal and External Partners: Prepares contracts, identifying additional services, and contracting with consultants to work on project team (Architectural, MEP, Structural, and Physicist).
- Managing design team and workflow: Manages and coordinates the activities of Project Coordinators, Architects, Designers, support staff, vendors, and contractors for timely and effective project completion.
- Project Management: Manages design projects in Hospitality and Senior Living sector:
- Effectively manages collaboration and communication between all parties, including clients, vendors, and firm resources.
- Manages budgeting and budget adherence, implementation, and completion.
- Monitors and Reviews work by staff to insure adherence to all relevant codes and standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- Degreed professional with minimum 3-5 years of experience in Architecture.
- Encouraged to take NCARB exam (based on readiness and the requirement for work hours and experience) or at least be logging hours toward taking exam.
- Encouraged to be certified in other related organizations of interest such as LEED, WELL or Evidence-Based Design
- Expertise in Industry codes and specifications regarding construction components and design elements, including: ADA codes.
- Must be well-versed in all phases of Architecture and Design including Construction Administration, product specifications, and quality control.
- Software:
Revit (and AutoCAD), Bluebeam, MS Word and Excel.
