We are seeking a Project Architect / Project Manager to join an award-winning, employee-owned design practice in Atlanta, GA
. This is an opportunity to work on large‑scale commercial, cultural, entertainment, hospitality, mixed‑use, and civic projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams known for delivering impactful, design‑driven environments.
The ideal candidate is a licensed architect with 10+ years of experience who can confidently lead projects, manage client relationships, and guide teams through all phases of design and delivery. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing design excellence, technical execution, and project leadership.
Role and Responsibilities- Lead projects through all phases, from concept and schematic design through construction administration.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and team coordination.
- Develop and oversee design presentations, documentation, and project execution.
- Produce and review design development and construction document packages.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Ensure design intent, technical quality, and project goals are maintained throughout delivery.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development.
- Support business development efforts, industry networking, and client relationship building.
- Utilize tools including Revit, Enscape, Rhino, Sketch Up, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and emerging design technologies.
- 10+ years of professional architectural experience.
- Professional degree in Architecture from a NAAB‑accredited program.
- Strong experience leading projects through all phases of design and construction.
- Background in large‑scale commercial, cultural, entertainment, hospitality, mixed‑use, or civic projects preferred.
- Proficiency in Revit required; experience with Rhino, Sketch Up, Enscape, and AutoCAD preferred.
- Strong design, technical, and project management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.
- Ability to lead teams while working independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- LEED accreditation and NCARB certification are a plus.
