As Project Architect, you will produce and manage projects from design through construction and will be working directly with clients and sub-consultants in the areas of education, healthcare, municipal, industrial and other challenging market sectors.
Core Position Responsibilities- Develop projects from inception, including design and presentation materials.
- Lead and manage the design and execution of complex architectural projects including commercial, municipal, and industrial buildings.
- Oversee the preparation of detailed architectural and engineering plans, specifications, and documentation using advanced design tools and software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to define project requirements, develop design solutions, and ensure project objectives are met.
- Stay current on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
- Manage project budgets, schedules and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Ensure Building Code Compliance.
- Develop Plans and Specifications suitable for Permitting, Bidding and Construction.
- Ensure Plans and Specifications are coordinated.
- Serve as primary point of contact and project liaison to assist with the resolution of construction issues and conduct site observations.
- Perform Construction Administration including site visits, jobsite meetings, field reports and documentation.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members and other appropriate employees.
- BS in Architecture
- 8+ years of experience
- Registered Architect or path to licensure
- Proficiency in Revit
- Advanced leadership skills as either a technical leader and/or project manager of complex projects.
- Experience working with a team of engineers
- Self-motivated
