An award-winning multidisciplinary design practice is seeking a Principal Landscape Architect to join its growing Atlanta office. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced leader to help shape the strategic direction of a well-established landscape architecture and planning practice.

The successful candidate will play a key role in business development, client management, project leadership, and team mentorship while contributing to the continued growth and success of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee complex landscape architecture projects from concept through construction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and industry partners.
  • Drive business development initiatives and support the pursuit of new project opportunities.
  • Manage project teams, ensuring high-quality design delivery and technical excellence.
  • Mentor and develop landscape architects, designers, and emerging professionals.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including planners, architects, engineers, and environmental specialists.
  • Participate in strategic planning, market expansion, and office growth initiatives.
  • Present design concepts and project strategies to clients, stakeholders, and public agencies.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with company standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
  • Professional Landscape Architect registration (PLA/RLA).
  • Strong client-facing, leadership, and business development capabilities.
  • Demonstrated success managing multidisciplinary teams and complex project delivery.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard design and documentation software.
