We’re seeking a talented and experienced Interior Designer to join our Atlanta team. This individual should be able to work in a self‑directed manner across all facets of the design process, including presentations, schematic design, design development, contract documents, model building, rendering, and construction administration — all while meeting budgets, timelines, and project requirements.
Responsibilities- Develop design concepts based on project criteria and refine them through feedback
- Collaborate closely with team members to determine the best design approach
- Select FF&E and prepare detailed FF&E specifications
- Continue developing technical skills in tools such as Revit, Bluebeam, Enscape, AutoCAD, Rhino, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite, Spexx, and other modeling/rendering programs
- Serve as a project manager for small and medium‑sized projects and teams
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Communicate effectively with client representatives, subcontractors, and consultants
- Participate in professional development activities inside and outside the firm
- Attend industry events and build a network aligned with the firm’s strengths and goals
- Mentor and support the development of junior team members
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Degree in Interior Design from a CIDA‑accredited program
- 8+ years of experience in a professional interior design environment
- Proficiency in Revit, CAD, Rhino, Photoshop, InDesign, Enscape, and 3D modeling/rendering programs (Revit required)
- Strong knowledge of materials, project design, and construction documentation
Experience across all conventional aspects and phases of interior design - Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and professionally within a team
- Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and a desire to learn
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Required:
NCIDQ certification or active pursuit toward certification
