Job Responsibilities

  • Perform cursory, partial, or comprehensive Quality Control (QC) reviews across multiple regions, project types, and milestones, identifying issues and risks as requested by the Project Management Team.
  • Provide technical assistance, including code, accessibility, and zoning analysis; coordination of architectural and consultant drawings; review and development of specific details; specifications coordination with drawings; and design solutions for technical project tasks, as requested by the Project Management Team.
  • Conduct QC reviews during production to support the quality of construction documents, as scheduled by the Production Team (TPS).
  • Participate in selected QA/QC kickoff meetings to help define project Quality Management needs and scope and provide input on review focus and required time.
  • Provide feedback to TPS through Studio Quality Management (Studio-QM) to align production templates, tools, and standards with regional needs while maintaining firmwide consistency.
  • Maintain strong technical and code expertise, including awareness of regional office differences, industry standards, and current WM Standards, to effectively support teams and reduce project risk.
  • Mentor staff on technical requirements, WM and industry standards, and building codes through direct interaction and drawing markups.
  • Prepare, lead, or participate in educational presentations on code, technical topics, and Quality Management for firmwide audiences, targeted groups, or bulletin formats.
  • Participate in Studio QM coordination meetings to align QM team schedules, stay informed on current and upcoming projects, and contribute to QM processes, tools, and standards development.
  • Work within budget, meet deadlines, and adjust scope dynamically based on workload demands and project priorities.
  • Manage calendar availability for scheduled and urgent requests and attend all accepted meetings punctually.
Qualifications
  • Experience in Interior Design and/or Architecture
  • Strong communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of model and state building codes, as well as state and federal accessibility standards.
  • Extensive experience in project management, construction, and detailing.
  • Strong computer, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam, MS Teams, MS Outlook, and MS Word is required; experience with PowerPoint, Revit, AutoCAD, Ganttic, and Excel is preferred.
  • Ability to effectively present and speak in front of small to large groups is preferred.
