Position Summary

Join our partner firm, Macgregor Associates Architects (MAA), an Invision Studio, as a Business Design Coordinator providing project financial planning and scheduling support for multiple projects and clients. This role supports Project Managers by assisting with review of RFP documents and owner's project delivery requirements, as well as assisting with drafting of project proposals and generation of associated architectural fees. The Business Design Coordinator also coordinates with firm leadership to assist with assessment of project staffing needs and project delivery schedules to foster long-term project success and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Project Managers with review of RFP documents, owner requirements, and project delivery expectations.
  • Support preparation of project proposals, including scope descriptions and clarifications.
  • Assist with development of architectural fee estimates based on project scope, schedule, staffing needs, and delivery requirements.
  • Coordinate with firm Principals and Project Managers to evaluate project staffing needs and resource allocation.
  • Support tracking and organization of client and prospect communications and opportunities.
  • Assist firm leadership with revenue recognition processes and project budget tracking efforts.
  • Communicate regularly with Project Managers and administrative staff to support initial project setup tasks.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in design firm setting or equivalent.
  • Experienced in review of RFP documents and generation of project proposals.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop architectural fee estimates based on project scope and client delivery requirements.
  • Ability to assist with project financial planning, including budget tracking, revenue recognition support, and project performance reporting.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) required.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and eager to grow into greater responsibilities over time.
